Turbo Tomato: Last Squeeze

An infinity of time has passed since the last devlog, but we're in the endgame now.

Since Amiga Ireland I have (obviously) abandonded writing devlogs in favour of working on the game, save for an occasional fleeting thought along the lines of "I should write a devlog, I suppose" before sighing and moving on to something else.

Over 300 commits have been made to the Turbo Tomato repository since the last devlog, in fact, so I have definitely been doing something.

Somehow though, the details don't seem to matter right now, so I'll skip to the end. After spending the last couple of weeks just optimising and bugfixing, I am extremely happy and/or relieved to declare that Turbo Tomato is now feature complete!

Turbo Tomato - Coming Soon!

A round of QA and bugfixing will follow soon, and there are a few final versions of assets to drop in, but otherwise the content and systems have achieved their final forms. As far as I'm concerned.

A physical release availability date has been pencilled in - to be confirmed and announced in due course - and we're working towards that. Manuals are being written, box layout is being designed, floppy disks are being sourced, trailers are in production and web sites are being built. So while work on the game itself has slowed there is still plenty going on behind the scenes.

1993-2021 ... it's been a long road, getting from there to here; it's been a long time, but the time is finally near...

Stay saucy just a little bit longer!
